Nicolas began his journey in Settimo Torinese, Italy, in 1972. From sweeping floors as a young apprentice to owning salons in Brooklyn and Manhattan, he has spent more than five decades mastering the craft of hairdressing.
From Italy To Florida
Born in a small town near Torino, Nicolas immigrated to the United States in 1980. He built his career in New York before reinventing himself in Palm Beach Gardens, working with everyone from billionaires to everyday clients.

Nicolas Salubro was born in Settimo Torinese, a small town near Torino, Italy. His journey behind the chair began in 1972 when his father apprenticed him to a local barber. In 1980, he immigrated to the United States, settling in New York. He earned his cosmetologist license at Ultissima Beauty Institute in Brooklyn while working as a painter by day. Over fifty-three years, Nicolas has owned salons in Brooklyn, mastered his craft in Manhattan, and reinvented himself in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He lives with his wife—his life partner and salon manager—and their beloved Havanese, Sasha.
